Honor
Veterans Day 2023
3,000+
certificates and lapel pins
Angels In Action partnered with Patriot Angels to sponsor Veterans Day events in senior living communities. Veterans were honored with a commemorative pin and a certificate.
We visited many communities and distributed over 3,000 certificates and lapel pins. The work was simple on paper. In the room, it was something else.

Thanksgiving Meal Drive
72
Thanksgiving meals
Angels In Action partnered with Patriot Angels to provide 72 Thanksgiving meals to families in the community.
We also offered financial assistance to several displaced families during Thanksgiving week, so they could eat without having to store the food themselves.
December
Christmas Toy Drive
Every December, we provide foster children with toys and meals at an annual event.
The children look forward to time with their families and to choosing presents from a toy drive that Angels In Action helped support.
Warmth
Blankets for Foster Children
Volunteers gathered to pack cozy fleece blankets for foster children, each one chosen and tied with care.
It is unglamorous work. It is also the kind of work a child can feel on a cold night.
Dignity
Adopt a Veteran
Thanks to donations, Angels In Action adopted a veteran in a local senior living community, providing clothing and shoes for the year.
Haiti
Graham House
Angels In Action supports orphans at Graham House, including housing, education, food, healthcare, and emotional support.
The work is far from Hendersonville. The responsibility is not.
